CiviCRM Users Group Joint Meetup with Net2DC

Washington DC software developers, online mobilizers, and association managers met up to discuss the Open Source platform CiviCRM. This group was a mix of NetSquared DC meetup members and the DC CiviCRM Users Group.
Michael Daraybegi hosted the meeting in the historical Friends Meeting of Washington at 2111 Florida Ave, steps away from Ginkgo Street Labs. The discussion revolved around the following CRM topics: Designing the Capturing and Storing of your supporter data, maximizing the effectiveness of your interactions, and structuring your lists.
Utilizing segmentation, sorts and metrics for activities and mailings. The subject of planning and collecting data led its' way to registration for events, incentives and reminders and data privacy best practices. Various ways of collecting data includes surveys, events, donations and phone banks. The meeting ended with a round of questions and conversation continued ontoThai Chef.
